Jumpy Jumptime´s Official Website Is Online!
To release a game on Steam, in the Epic Store, in the Microsoft Store or elsewhere, you need a website about the gaming studio or the actual game you are working on. It took a while to get the game to the point where it looked good enough to be featured on a website.
Today I want to introduce you to the official Jumpy Jumptime website! You can find the website at Jumpygame.com!
Jumpy is equipped with the hammer!
The website is based on Wordpress with an additional investment in the Colibri Page Builder!
I have used this Wordpress addon before for another website and therefore progressed relatively quickly.
A bar with a dark gray background serves as the header and contains the most important links displayed as an icon. Then the main characters of the game are presented as an image followed by the all-important game trailer.
With Albert's Translocator you can teleport!
Oh yeah...before the website could be finished I had to create a trailer for the game.
I did this with the recording program Action from Mirillis. I finally edited the trailer in DaVinci Resolve. This is followed by a short description of the game and, after the trailer, the most important thing: pictures! I created the images using the "Print" button, inserted them into Photoshop, scaled them to the correct sizes and saved them with the correct name.
Jumpy is looking for coins with the metal detector!
Of course you can improve the design, add more pictures, expand the description of the game, etc...It's about having a basic building block that I can build on in the future. If you haven't seen the trailer for Jumpy yet, you can watch the trailer here:
